Job Summary
Support Specialist role supporting a Veteran Service Organization’s resource center via phone, email, and chat. Responsibilities include handling chats/emails, occasional outbound calls, training (4 weeks) with schedule around EST, triaging needs of veterans and families, identifying programs and services eligibility, registering participants, providing program overviews, connecting users to resources, crisis intervention (including suicide prevention), data entry and maintenance in internal systems, and collaboration with teammates. Requires a USB headset, webcam, Windows-based laptop/PC, reliable internet, and 100% remote work opportunity with a training period and after-training compensation of $17/hr. Location is Farmington, Utah, with remote work eligibility; U.S. remote restrictions apply. Compensation during training is $10/hr for up to 2 weeks; post-training rate is $17/hr.
