Job Summary
Support Services Technician in Eurofins Air Toxics, based in Folsom, CA. Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing sample media, packaging and shipment of media to clients, building and repairing flow controllers, assembling/dismantling shipping boxes, and ensuring safety and adherence to protocols. The role requires ability to handle hazardous materials, read and follow SOPs, lift up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work with teams across departments. Proficiency in English and in using shipping providers, internet software, and Microsoft Office is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in shipping, receiving, and/or warehousing
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficient in use of shipping provider websites
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a continuous basis
- Stand for prolonged periods
- Read, understand and comply with SOPs
- Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Hearing and speaking to communicate effectively in person or on the phone
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Possession of good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Safety-conscious with focus on quality control and safety protocols
