Job Summary
Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals; implement behavioral intervention plans; collaborate with teachers, specialists, and problem-solving teams to support student needs; monitor progress on IEP goals and communicate student progress with staff and parents/guardians; ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation; maintain high ethical standards and protect confidentiality of student information; requires Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS-1 and willingness to be trained in crisis prevention with ability to pass a physical ability test; full-time for the 2026-2027 school year at Mahomet-Seymour Junior High School; location: Mahomet, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS-1 certification is required
- Applicants must be willing to be trained in crisis prevention and able to pass a physical ability test
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
