Job Summary
Group Leader for Eurofins Environment Testing's Support Services in the canister preparation department. Leads staffing, workflow planning, safety/compliance, and operational efficiency, including canister cleaning and certification, assembly of sampling equipment, and high-volume media preparation. Oversees scheduling, inventory of canisters and supplies, training, and adherence to quality standards and SOPs. Acts as primary contact for clients, drives process improvements, and ensures timely delivery of orders. Requires a BS in a science/engineering field, at least 4 years of supervisory experience in environmental or laboratory operations, familiarity with TO-15 methods and sampling equipment, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and LIMS. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (occasional overtime). English proficiency is required.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in environmental or laboratory operations including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong understanding of canister/media preparation, cleaning, certification, and sampling equipment operations
- Experience with inventory management systems and processes, including tracking of canisters, parts, and consumables
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and LIMS
- Ability to work full-time Monday–Friday, with flexibility for overtime as needed
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills in English
