Job Summary
Support Services Specialist II responsible for a variety of general maintenance repairs and facilities upkeep in an in-office role. Duties include troubleshooting lighting repairs and bulb replacement, chandelier lighting maintenance (working on high ladders), exterior painting and painting of poles/curbs/equipment, door and ceiling tile repairs, ATM A/C replacement, grounds maintenance (debris removal, shrubbery/tree trimming), and other related duties. Requires working knowledge of hand and power tools, ability to operate electronic devices to close work orders and share issue photos, and a valid driver’s license. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors year-round, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in dusty/odorous environments. Part-time position located in Port Lavaca, TX, with an emphasis on customer experience and teamwork in a facility-maintenance context.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-year facilities maintenance experience or equivalent construction, handyman experience
- Valid State Issued Driver’s License
