Job Summary
Support Services Officer for headspace Adelaide, delivering high-quality administrative and operational support and acting as the first point of contact for young people, families, and stakeholders. Join Australia’s leading youth mental health service to help provide a safe, confidential, and efficient client experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include front-of-house support, managing high volumes of enquiries, assisting with program administration, and ensuring professional interactions with clients, staff, and community partners. Required skills include effective customer service, administrative efficiency, handling sensitive/confidential information, and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement. Qualification requirements include a certificate level in Business Administration (desirable), and willingness to obtain Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check (NPC); compliance with immunisation policies and related vaccinations. The role is part-time (0.6 FTE) and ongoing, located in Kaurna Country, headspace Adelaide, with in-office duties.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate level in Business Administration or similar (desirable)
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
- Vaccinations/immunisations required per policy
- Experience in fast-paced administrative/front-of-house support
- Experience with high-volume enquiries
- Experience in handling sensitive/confidential information
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work with youth and stakeholders
