Job Summary
Oversee the Support Services program by collaborating with partnering agencies, building an effective team, and creating program structure. Conduct regular clinical supervision, schedule shifts, manage hiring and termination, process payroll, and complete personnel documentation and performance evaluations. Ensure contract compliance, attain service objective outcomes, adhere to reporting protocols, and manage the program budget while leading the team through rent-up and resident-stabilization processes. This fully onsite role requires direct service delivery to participants at ECS program locations, with no remote work available.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of supervisory experience
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team approach
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to quickly assess and respond to a variety of situations, including medical emergencies, conflict resolution and intervention, and other resident emergencies
- Working knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and implementation
- Strong knowledge of social services and mental health resources for low income families
- Ability to facilitate effective support groups and other group activities
- At least 5 years of leadership experience supervising staff to include: selection of staff, training, development, performance evaluations, progressive discipline, taking appropriate disciplinary action and knowing when to partner with Senior Leadership and Human Resources
- Must secure finger image screening and annual TB screening
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position which may include long periods at a desk and/or computer workstation and lifting of up to 25 lbs
- Demonstrate behavior that supports the organization's mission, vision, and values
- Adhere to all program, funder, and organizational policies, and procedures
- Communicate effectively and model integrity, fairness, and ethical business practices
- Must possess a working knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and implementation
- Must possess a strong knowledge of social services and mental health resources for low income families
Desired Qualifications
- Masters Degree in psychology, counseling social work, or related field
- Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (MFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Previous experience working with homeless and low-income individuals
- Direct work experience related to mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, and/or child welfare
