Job Summary
This position involves overseeing case management services and community outreach efforts for BIAMD’s Maryland TBI Waiver Contract. The Support Services Case Manager will conduct client intakes, develop relationships with care providers, coordinate services, and represent BIAMD at community events, while also assisting with program development and outreach campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or social service field preferred
- Bachelor's degree in social service field with a minimum of two years of experience in case management
- Five or more years of experience in a direct social service or medical setting
- Demonstrated ability in engaging clientele from diverse communities
- Up to date understanding of brain injury treatment and resources
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in case management or resource coordination
- Experience in a direct social service or medical setting
- Experience in the field of brain injury (CBIS preferred)
- Experience creating and implementing programs and initiatives designed to increase membership and community engagement
- Strong professional and ethical boundaries
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with electronic relational databases such as Salesforce and/or LTSS online
- Public speaking and public outreach skills

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Access to personal transportation
