Job Summary
Deliver efficient support services to the Emergency Department by removing waste materials, restocking consumables, and performing detailed cleaning of patient areas and facilities. Transport patients, beds, and trollies while delivering meals and beverages, and respond to codes as required. Work a rotating roster across all seven days, with shifts starting as early as 6:30 am and ending by 2:30 pm. This role is part of the Support Services team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, contributing to excellence in cleaning, ward support, food production, and patient transport across our sites.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certificate III in Health (PSA or HAS)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience within a Healthcare Environment
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
- Ability to work a rotating roster across all 7 days of the week
- Earliest start being 6.30am and latest being 2.30pm
- Mandatory immunisations/vaccinations (including flu vaccinations)
