Job Summary
Support Route Driver fills in on open or unassigned routes to support daily delivery operations. Responsibilities include delivering and picking up freight, inspecting and reporting vehicle issues, loading the truck to maximize space, collecting payments for certain packages, verifying shipments, and notifying management of problems. May require travel; overtime opportunities exist with paid overtime after 40 hours. Starting wage is $20.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience. Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and be able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Skills include ability to operate a manual transmission, strong customer service, and independence.
