Job Summary
Support Route Driver fills in on open or unassigned routes to back daily delivery operations. Responsibilities include delivering and picking up freight, inspecting the vehicle, loading efficiently, collecting payments for certain packages, verifying shipments, reporting discrepancies, maintaining professional appearance, and traveling as needed. Requires ability to operate a manual transmission (or willingness to learn), strong customer service, ability to work independently, and compliance with safety and DOT requirements. Starting wage is $20.00-$24.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities including time-and-a-half after 40 hours; schedule Monday–Friday with possible overtime on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- DOT physical exam
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
