Job Summary
Support Professional at GRCC Lakeshore Campus serving as the primary point of contact for enrollment, admissions, and financial aid; lead for front-desk triage and coordination in a high-traffic environment; provide extensive information on student services, assist with admissions and FAFSA steps, tuition payments, and scholarships; support and advise students and families, coordinate campus events/open houses, supervise student workers, and maintain confidentiality and FERPA compliance; bilingual English-Spanish assistance and cross-training with other campus staff; requires adaptable schedule including evenings/weekends and familiarity with campus systems (MyGRCC, Mongoose, Acuity, FAFSA.gov, ACCUPLACER/ALEKS, PeopleSoft) to support student success.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or comparable combination of relevant education and experience
- Bilingual English-Spanish preferred
- Strong customer service focused
- Punctual and good attendance
- Ability to manage high volume of service requests
- Confidentiality and FERPA compliance
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and PeopleSoft or other Student Information System
- Experience with student services and advising inquiries
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to assist with enrollment, admissions, financial aid, and student accounts processes
