Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients in home or community-based settings, implementing evidence-based interventions to support independence and positive behavior. Responsibilities include direct skill-building and care plan implementation, accurate session data recording, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with families and other providers to enhance treatment effectiveness. Ideal for those pursuing entry into ABA/psychology fields; requires a high school diploma, willingness to learn, patience and compassion, reliable transportation, and a minimum 6-month commitment. Positions start part-time and may offer afternoon/evening hours; encouraged to pursue the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and passion for helping individuals with Autism
- Patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations
