Job Summary
Package and move completed film products, weighing and labeling them per operation instructions while performing audits to ensure packaging integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve quality, equipment, or personnel issues, and execute Good Manufacturing Practice activities in the work area. Operate material handling vehicles like fork trucks and pallet jacks, maintaining a clean-as-you-go mentality by addressing housekeeping issues immediately. Report any contamination or food safety risks to a supervisor right away. Complete required safety activities and daily data entry tasks on a 3-day/12-hour shift with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Must successfully complete required skills assessment/testing
- Must be able to work in a moderately heavy manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work on a 3-day/12-hour shift and overtime as required/scheduled
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
- Must be able to withstand continuous periods of moving, walking, bending, stooping, keeling, twisting motion, climbing and descending stairs and ladders in an effort to perform most tasks
- Must be mentally sharp and quick to respond
- Must be able to perform basic math functions
- Must understand basic computer skills and perform daily data entry tasks/requirements
- Must be able to operate a fork truck and/or pallet jack
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
