Support Operations Engineer

Job Summary
Resolve hardware and software technical issues for internal/external customers across remote service delivery. Engage with customers via written and verbal communication; document resolutions in the knowledge management system; support field and onsite visits as needed; collaborate with Sales Pursuit team; leverage container orchestration (OpenShift/Kubernetes), Linux administration (RHEL/RHCOS), DNS and load balancing (HAProxy/OpenShift Routers), and monitoring observability (Prometheus/Grafana) to ensure SLA adherence. Flexible/hybrid work arrangement with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office in Portugal; requires 2-5 years of relevant tech experience and vocational certification or equivalent qualifications; ITIL familiarity, Jira and ServiceNow skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational: apprenticeship/certification completion
- May include on- the-job training in addition to studies
- Associate degree: first attainable degree at the post-high school level
- 2-5 years experience in relevant technologies and customer environments
- Relevant industry qualification where applicable
