Job Summary
Provide patient care as an LPN under the supervision of an RN on a designated unit. Assist in assuring best patient care, perform routine nursing duties, assist with admissions and assessments, coordinate with the health care team, and support quality assurance, infection control, and documentation. May take call for staffing coverage and perform CPR during emergencies; assist with lab requests and notifying attending MD of changes in patient condition; participate in staff meetings and adhere to Nursing Practice Acts and facility policies. This role requires high school graduate with an active NC LPN license, CPR certification, and ability to work under pressure in a geriatric nursing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- Must hold current, valid LPN license in North Carolina and submit proof of license renewal
- Must be a high school graduate
- Must be CPR certified yearly
- Must be able to work under pressure and follow policies/procedures
- Must be able to perform nursing duties, assist with admissions, rounds, and coordination with the healthcare team
