Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and monitor equipment performance to maintain process yields and efficiencies in the Witney manufacturing facility. Execute set-up of precision assemblies using machine tools while troubleshooting faults and implementing changes to equipment for the Projects Team. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of record keeping within stringent quality systems. Work in a clean room environment on a 4 on 4 off rotating pattern of days and nights.
Required Qualifications
- experience of Engineering within a manufacturing environment
- experience and skills in set-up of precision assemblies
- the use of machine tools
- fault finding and problem solving
- completed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship
- a higher education qualification (such as a ONC, HNC, HND or degree) in a related subject
- the ability to effectively communicate with your peers and other departments
- the ability to maintain a high standard of record keeping
- experience in a clean room or controlled environment
- technical expertise to fault find, maintain and continually improve bespoke automated equipment and processes
- assistance to the Projects Team in implementing changes to equipment
- 4 on 4 off Days and Nights rotating pattern
- 4 on 4 off Nights
Desired Qualifications
- experience with Laser cutting & marking
- experience with Micro fluid deposition
- experience with Vision systems
- experience in a regulated industry (e.g. pharma, medical device)
