Job Summary
Support Liaison role within Lotus Group Care focuses on developing and implementing group and individualized programming for youth (12 and under) in crisis/transition, using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches. Responsibilities include creating visual daily schedules, monitoring and reporting on person-centered goals, building community supports with families and agencies, coordinating strategies and monthly reports, and collaborating with the Support Liaison team to drive agency-wide programming projects. Requires flexibility, strong collaboration with multiple teams, and the ability to manage on-call weekends and varied shifts (noon-8pm with one weekend on-call per month). Minimum 2+ years post-secondary education and a valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean record. Training provided upon hire in Trauma-Informed Care, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, First Aid, and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training; benefits begin after probation with additional educational support and RRSP matching. Expertise in youth programming, life skills coaching, and trauma-informed practices is valued.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Year post-secondary diploma or degree
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License
- Driver’s Abstract
- Clear Criminal Records Check
- Clear Children’s Services Intervention Check
- Vehicle Insurance stating $2 million liability and access to a reliable vehicle
