Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by ensuring crew members deliver exceptional customer service, managing opening and closing procedures, and acting as Manager on Duty for urgent issues. Direct the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock while driving sales through optimized merchandising and staff performance. Train associates on store policies and product knowledge, support World Recovery initiatives, and handle essential tasks including cash register operations, moving merchandise, and store maintenance. Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face
- Ability to exchange accurate information in communication situations
