Job Summary
Oversee store operations as Manager on Duty with part-time scheduling at Five Below. Train crew on the BEST customer service experience to ensure fast, friendly checkout and outstanding guest satisfaction. Supervise daily activities of store associates, including receiving/unpacking new stock and organizing the sales floor. Open/close the store, manage cash/security, and ensure smooth daily operations. Support onboarding and ongoing training, drive store sales through merchandising and staff performance, and collaborate with the store leadership team. Perform routine maintenance and uphold store policies and procedures to deliver a WOW customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Flexible schedule including day/evening/weekends/overnight shifts (as required)
- Ability to operate cash register
- Ability to move and lift merchandise up to 25 lbs
- Experience in onboarding and training of associates
- Store operations and customer service knowledge
