Job Summary
Conduct front-end operations, manage cash handling, and oversee store cleanliness while driving sales and CSAT scores. Train and coach associates on customer service standards, high-fives, and SOPs to ensure a "Wow" experience. Perform merchandising duties including unloading trucks, staging inventory, and stocking shelves, while assisting with payroll and receiving shipments. Review corporate communications, authorize register functions, and maintain compliance with HR policies. Operate as a manager on duty, executing opening and closing procedures and holding associates accountable to store goals. Drive key metrics including sales, ADS, and expense control through direct team leadership and active participation in all Five Below services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
Desired Qualifications
