Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by managing crew members, training associates on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, and ensuring effective performance of duties. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store functions, staff management, and urgent customer issues. Handle opening and closing procedures, including securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms. Drive sales growth through merchandising optimization and actively assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to maintain sales floor efficiency. Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, and managing the stock room. Requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Hourly position starting at $14.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face
- Ability to frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers
