Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by training crew members on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, managing opening and closing procedures, and acting as Manager on Duty for urgent issues. Direct the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure efficient sales floor placement while driving sales through optimized merchandising and staff performance. Support ongoing associate onboarding and training regarding store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Perform store maintenance tasks including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, and taking out garbage. Work a flexible schedule that may include day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel. Hourly starting at $17.50.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock
- Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers
- Ability to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Ability to frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise
