Job Summary
Oversee store operations as a Support Lead (Part Time) at Five Below. Train crew on the BEST customer service experience to ensure fast, friendly checkout and outstanding guest experiences. Manage daily activities of store associates, ensure duties are performed effectively, assist with receiving and stocking to keep floors ready for customers, and act as Manager on Duty when needed with responsibility for operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues. Handle opening/closing procedures including cash security and alarms, and support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance. Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service, while coordinating with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery. Perform store maintenance (cleanup, stock room organization, etc.). Maintain flexibility to work day/evening/weekend shifts and occasional overnight shifts; ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs and ascend/descend ladders as required. Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- College experience preferred
