Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols. Train and manage crew members on customer service standards, product knowledge, and store policies while ensuring effective performance. Handle receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to maintain sales floor readiness. Act as Manager on Duty to address urgent issues and drive sales through optimized merchandising and staff coordination. Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning and waste removal. Requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock
- Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers
- Ability to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Ability to frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Must be able to place or remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Must be able to ascend or descend ladders
- Must be able to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be able to work day, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Must be able to travel (as required)
