Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by managing opening and closing procedures, ensuring cash security, and acting as Manager on Duty for urgent issues. Train crew members on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, drive sales through optimized merchandising, and handle stock receiving, unpacking, and floor organization. Support onboarding and ongoing training for associates while maintaining store cleanliness and equipment. Requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts with a starting hourly rate of $11.50. This part-time role supports the store leadership team in delivering the Five Below Way culture across over 1,900 locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
