Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by ensuring crew members deliver exceptional customer service through the B.E.S.T. experience and managing opening/closing procedures, cash security, and alarm settings. Direct staff training on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures while assisting with stock receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise for the sales floor. Act as Manager on Duty to address urgent issues, optimize merchandising to drive sales, and handle store maintenance tasks including cleaning and waste removal. Manage inventory movement, including lifting up to 25 lbs and stocking heights of 5-10 feet, while maintaining composure under pressure. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts at a leading retailer with over 1,900 locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Ability to move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face
- Ability to exchange accurate information in these situations
