Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash security, and staff management. Train crew members on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience and ensure they deliver fast, friendly checkouts. Manage receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to optimize sales floor placement. Act as Manager on Duty to address urgent issues and drive sales through merchandising and staff performance optimization. Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, and taking out garbage. Assist with onboarding associates and support World Recovery initiatives. Requires flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face
- Ability to frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise
