Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by managing opening and closing procedures, securing cash, and addressing urgent issues as Manager on Duty. Ensure crew members deliver the B.E.S.T. customer service experience through personal contact, training, and ongoing support on store policies and product knowledge. Drive sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, managing stock receiving and organization, and performing maintenance tasks like cleaning and sweeping. Actively seek ways to boost performance while maintaining composure under pressure. This role requires a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Starting at $13.00 hourly, this position is available to high school graduates with at least one year of management experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Must be able to place or remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders
- Must be able to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Must be able to communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers
