Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by managing crew members, training associates on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, and ensuring effective performance of duties. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and urgent issues. Manage opening and closing procedures, including securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms. Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising and staff performance while controlling expenses. Support onboarding and ongoing training for associates on store policies and product knowledge. Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, and organizing stock. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Hourly position starting at $15.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders
- Ability to position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to frequently operate cash register
