Support Engineer Intern

Job Summary
Support Engineer Intern responsible for installation and daily operations support for facility management of client platforms to meet agreed business needs & service levels. Perform troubleshooting for client platform related problems, respond to incidents with temporary and/or permanent resolutions, provide status updates, handle service requests, monitor SLAs, document and maintain system configurations, and participate in client platform implementation/upgrade projects. Includes desktop support for end users, imaging/re-imaging, asset inventories, technical escalation to 3rd party vendors, updating incident records, and creating/updating work instructions; requires IT-related diploma or higher and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in an IT-related discipline
- Desktop troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good spoken and written English
- Preferably 1 year of enterprise desktop support experience in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Cloning Tools, MAC Operating Systems will be an advantage and Antivirus/Malware software
- Familiar with the use of iOS and Android devices
- A good team player with good communication skills
