Job Summary
Night-shift Support Engineer I responsible for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for USAN software services and AWS Managed Services clients, including on-premises data centers, hybrid solutions, and AWS cloud. Document interactions and resolutions in HALO ITSM, diagnose issues per SLAs, escalate to Tier 3 when needed, perform routine ticket audits, and oversee outage recovery with customer notifications and timelines. Requires strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to operate in a 24x7 environment; rotating shifts including weekends/holidays. Commitment to pursuing AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, etc.). Entry-level role with a two-year degree, technical school credential, or equivalent industry experience; familiarity with AWS is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year college degree, technical school graduate, or two years of cumulative industry experience
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a 24x7 environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based solutions is a plus
