Job Summary
Oversee computer hardware systems by responding to IT incident tickets, setting up and configuring desktops, peripherals, and printers, and troubleshooting network issues. Manage the lifecycle of equipment while performing routine maintenance such as software updates, virus scans, and disk cleanup. Drive system stability through 24x7 production support for critical security solutions via an on-call rotation, utilizing monitoring tools to proactively resolve issues before they impact operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project approaches for software migrations and hardware upgrades, ensuring execution remains on time and within budget. Provide end-user training on company software and collaboration tools, while mentoring junior team members and identifying process improvements to reduce repeat issues. Maintain appropriate technical documentation and participate in solution roadmap projects to evolve platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related courses
- 1+ years of experience with some familiarity with Windows desktop operating systems
- Deployment of new hardware (PCs, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, networking technologies
- Ability to communicate (Oral/Written) effectively and coordinate action with all levels of the organization
- Must be a quick learner, self-sufficient and follow through on tasks to completion, in a high-volume work driven environment
- Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to translate business needs into application and operational requirements
- User of IT Service Management methodologies with specific demonstrated experience in incident and change management
- required to work Off-Hours as needed
