Job Summary
Clean and maintain vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet hygiene and appearance standards. Prepare campervans with required kits, bedding, and optional extras for check-in and check-out processes. Inspect vehicles upon return for cleanliness, missing items, or damage, and report issues for follow-up. Manage stock and consumables, including receiving, storing, and organizing supplies while reporting shortages or damages. Assist with depot logistics, keeping cleaning areas organized and moving vehicles during peak times. This hands-on role ensures every van is spotless, safe, and ready for the next customer, directly influencing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Training is provided in cleaning standards, detail verification, and minor repairs within a multicultural, dynamic workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks (cleaning, lifting, moving equipment)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in high-paced environments
- Driving License (Category B)
- Able to perform physically active cleaning tasks for most of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stretching, and repetitive motion
- Comfortable working inside vehicles (tight spaces, elevated surfaces), and outdoors around the fleet
- Able to lift, move, or carry cleaning equipment, vacuum devices, water hoses, chemical products, or kits (up to 15 kg)
- Comfortable using cleaning products and chemicals safely, including disinfectants, detergents, stain removers, glass cleaners, and surface treatments
- Must follow the safety company guidelines when handling chemical products
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and weather conditions when washing or preparing vehicles outdoors
- Able to maintain cleaning quality and speed during high-volume operations and peak season
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal schedules
- Capable of adapting to last-minute operational needs (e.g., urgent turnarounds or additional cleaning tasks)
