Assist the teacher in small group pupil instruction, maintain classroom discipline, and prepare materials for specialized instructional units. Handle attendance reports and clerical functions, operate audiovisual equipment, and escort children between rooms. Implement IEP objectives under teacher direction and perform assigned tasks such as assembling bulletin boards. Requires a high school diploma or passing score on the Paraprofessional test. This 10-month contract involves 6.75 hours daily, excluding lunch.
