Job Summary
Support CDL Driver to cover open, unassigned routes and assist drivers with daily duties including loading trucks, delivering and picking up freight, inspecting the vehicle, reporting problems, and collecting payments. Requires operating a manual transmission, ability to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement, strong customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Starting wage $24.00-$28.00 per hour, with OT after 40 hours and potential weekend OT; benefits and ongoing safety/compliance duties are part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license OR successfully complete Company paid CDL training program
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must pass criminal background check
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
