Job Summary
Conduct opening and closing procedures, process register transactions accurately, and handle cash and change. Maintain a clean, well-organized store environment by assisting with merchandising, window displays, and inventory preparation. Build relationships with guests to exceed service expectations while adhering to loss prevention practices and reporting potential hazards. Perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, lifting 30 pounds, and climbing stairs as needed. Report to work as scheduled using the time and attendance system.
Required Qualifications
- at least 18 years of age
- Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and / or squatting frequently
- May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
