Job Summary
Support Assistant at Fife Nature Records Centre, based at Fife House, Glenrothes with blended home and office work (0.6 FTE, 21h36m weekly). Core duties include collating, validating and entering biological records into Recorder 6; using tools such as Record Cleaner, Excel, ArcGIS and R; accessing records from iRecord and the NBN Atlas; interacting with recorders from beginners to experts; potential travel to attend office locations as required. The role sits within the Climate, Nature and Sustainability team and supports biodiversity data resources for decision-making and conservation work.
