Job Summary
Execute daily tactical warehousing operations for non-explosive equipment, repair parts, and tactical gear at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific. Unload delivery vehicles, inspect items for damage, and verify quantities against packing lists and bills of lading. Store materials in designated bins according to size, weight, and climate requirements while processing receipts and issues into warehouse management software. Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and platform scales to consolidate and pack kits for distribution. Perform routine physical counts, conduct location verifications, and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Lead. Maintain inventory accuracy and system documentation to ensure continuous supply of strategic assets. Requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years of warehouse experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1–3 years of experience in an industrial, commercial, or military warehouse environment performing receiving, storage, and inventory functions
- Ability to accurately read alphanumeric codes, part numbers, and National Stock Numbers (NSNs)
- Basic proficiency with computers and inventory software
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
- Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
Desired Qualifications
- Former Marine Corps Logistics Specialists (MOS 3043) or Navy Logistics Specialists (LS) experience
