Job Summary
Manage receipt, storage, and distribution of tactical gear, repair parts, and facility equipment for strategic weapons platforms and security forces. Supervise warehouse clerks, forklift operators, and material handlers while conducting periodic physical inventories to maintain 98% stock accountability. Oversee systemic transactions in Navy and Marine Corps logistics databases and inspect incoming shipments for damage, verifying documentation and resolving discrepancies. Plan layout configurations to maximize storage efficiency and ensure compliance with OSHA and military safety rules. Coordinate staging and delivery of high-priority parts to operational units and security checkpoints. Provide comprehensive warehouse management and assessment of CBR gear for approximately 580 Navy MAA personnel. Maintain 100% accountability of incoming materials and report inventory discrepancies to designated Technical Assistants.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain management or logistics
- Minimum two years' experience in warehouse management, tracking equipment and materials in multiple locations, issuing, receipt, and disposition of equipment and material
- Minimum 1 year in a team lead, lead clerk, or supervisory role
- Demonstrated experience utilizing standard enterprise resource planning (ERP) databases, warehouse management systems (WMS), or military supply systems
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
- Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
