Job Summary
Perform inventory management, storage management, and cataloging tasks for program-supported supply items while tracking property utilization and maintaining accurate accountability records. Execute individual supply case actions following established systems, policies, and procedures, and support packaging, handling, storage, and transportation activities for logistics shipments. Assist the ILS team with material recordkeeping tied to Interim Supply Support Plans and resolve routine supply discrepancies by applying established guidelines and nomenclature. Requires a high school diploma, basic computer proficiency, and a secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for inventory and property records
- Working knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, standard supply systems, policies, and nomenclature
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
- Ability to lift and move material up to 40 lbs, and to work in a warehouse or stockroom environment
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple supply accounts and inventory locations
- SECRET security clearance
- U.S. citizen
Desired Qualifications
- Prior military supply, logistics, or warehouse experience, such as Navy Logistics Specialist, Army 92Y, Marine Corps 3043, Air Force 2S0X1, Materiel Management, or equivalent
- Familiarity with National Stock Numbers, MILSTRIP, or DoD supply and inventory systems
- Experience with shipping and receiving documentation, or barcode and RFID inventory systems
