Job Summary
Conduct warehousing duties including verifying materials against receiving documents, routing items to storage locations, and stacking or palletizing supplies per established methods. Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials while examining items for deterioration or damage, reporting discrepancies and preparing damaged goods for shipment. Operate hand or power trucks as needed and perform miscellaneous quality assurance inspections and process checks. Maintain accurate records of decentralized and decontrolled items within established supply regulations. Requires a high school degree, three years of material/supply experience, and a valid driver's license. Valid security clearance may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Three (3) years of material/supply functions, either in the military services or in commercial applications
- Knowledgeable of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines
- Analytical ability to define problems, collect necessary data, establish facts, and to take recommended action based upon applicable established guidelines
- Possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driving permit
- Must be able to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
- Must possess planning/organizing skills
- Must be able to work under deadlines
- Must possess the ability to lift 20-60 pounds
- Must possess the ability to kneel
- Must possess the ability to stand
- Must possess the ability to walk
- Must possess the ability to routinely sit
- Must possess constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication
- Must possess constant mental alertness
