Job Summary
Supply Technician responsible for lifecycle sustainment and operational supportability of maritime navigation and sensor systems, including IPS strategies, TDPs/PTDs, DMSMS mitigation, LORA and RM&A assessments, technical manuals, training, PMS documentation, and spares provisioning to maximize fleet availability. Requires engineering background (BS) and 10+ years in DoD ILS/PSM with NAVSEA processes, CMPRO familiarity, and eligibility for a Secret clearance; based in Virginia Beach or Norfolk with quarterly travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Product Support Manager (PSM) roles within a DoD environment
- Extensive knowledge of NAVSEA logistics processes and GEOLOC requirements
- Proven experience managing lifecycle support for complex electronic or maritime systems
- Familiarity with CMPRO as the Government-approved database for serialized and un-serialized asset management per PWS 3.6.3(a)
- Experience with Phase A and Phase B ILS support per JFMM and Navy Modernization Plan per PWS 3.5.2.4
- Knowledge of FIAR compliance documentation including DD1149 and SF153 for property transfer validation per PWS 3.6.3(b)
- U.S. Citizenship (as a requirement of employment)
- Location: Virginia Beach, VA (JEBLCFS) / Norfolk, VA
- Travel: Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)
- Clearance: Secret
- Office & Computer Laboratories - routine computer-based work and physical demands
