Supply Planning Specialist

Release planned orders, schedules, and forecasts to suppliers based on production plans and customer demand. Manage supplier relationships, hold them accountable for on-time delivery, and develop recovery plans as needed. Monitor inventory systems to ensure product availability while working closely with production planners. Set lead times and inventory targets based on demand patterns and logistics risks. Expedite inbound logistics, assist the receiving team with freight issues, and resolve conflicts between suppliers, carriers, and internal departments. Advise on demand trends impacting service levels and respond to critical logistics issues during off hours.
