Job Summary
Own end-to-end demand planning and production scheduling for B2B and B2C channels, partnering with Retail Sales and commercial teams to ensure accurate volume delivery. Drive Delivered In Full (DIF) metrics across Pick & Pack, Line Haul, and Distribution Centers while optimizing inventory levels for finished goods and work-in-progress. Lead short, medium, and long-term capacity planning with Manufacturing and Engineering, acting as the primary Operations representative for major retail customers to manage shelf-life expectations. Facilitate the transition from S&OP to a mature, data-driven Integrated Business Planning model and coach a team of four direct reports through automation and analytical problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, production scheduling, or S&OP/IBP roles within an FMCG/food manufacturing environment
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering
- APICS certification
- Proficiency in planning systems and data/AI tools
- ability to lead system development and automation
- Proven capacity planning experience including OEE, labour modelling, and production sequencing
- Must have the right to work full-time in Australia
