Supply Planning Analyst

Job Summary
Develop a monthly supply plan based on projected purchases to drive product availability for distributors. Work closely with procurement and major suppliers to ensure purchase plans are met without shortages, while analyzing supply and demand imbalances to facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain. Monitor supplier performance KPIs, drive improvement activities, and create purchase orders for fulfillment center replenishment. Incorporate inventory planning for seasonal and promoted products, allocating constrained parts in coordination with the commercial team. This role supports the S&OP process and requires strong analytical skills to diagnose complex supply chain problems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field
- BA/BS degree in a supply chain, logistics, business, technical, or equivalent discipline
- Strong internal-customer orientation and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex SCM problems with the due sense of urgency
- Experience in end-to-end supply chain management involving distribution, inventory management, and project management
- Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze Supply Chain Management (SCM) problems to develop and implement solutions
- Passion to drive continuous improvement through identification of root-cause solutions to key business problems
Desired Qualifications
- APICS certification
- Green Belt Certification
- Familiarity with the tools, methodologies, and disciplines of a lean six sigma environment
- Knowledge of how forecasting drives Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Finite Scheduling and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
