Job Summary
Supply Planner responsible for efficient inventory planning and related processes to ensure product availability as a key competitive advantage, maintain inventory levels and assortment, and support inbound shipment execution and allocation plans. Key duties include analyzing and maintaining product assortment, inventory and safety stock levels, forecast accuracy, transfer frequency and lead times; reviewing supply and demand variability to identify risk mitigation opportunities; updating product and kit parameters; implementing preventive measures to avoid stockouts; conducting alternate sourcing analyses; monitoring reports for usage, expiring thresholds, lead times, and obsolescence; ensuring data integrity of master data; coordinating with vendors for pricing updates in ERP and managing stock rotation. The role requires a completion of high school, ERP experience, and 4+ years in inventory control/purchasing/warehouse logistics, with a preference for post-secondary inventory management education. The position is full-time permanent in British Columbia with a competitive salary and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school completion required
- Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred (e.g. inventory management)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs is required
- Previous experience using ERP systems
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Inventory Control, Purchasing or Warehouse logistics
