Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and coordinate the efficient movement of material by setting up and releasing work orders to ensure continuous product flow and on-time delivery. Determine material needs and stock availability, then collaborate with operations, purchasing, engineering, and quality departments to achieve production goals. Insure that required parts meet customer and inventory needs while rearranging schedules for changing requirements like orders or shortages. Maintain procurement business system data integrity, create bills of material, and manage parts/commodities numbers in supply chain systems. Requires 3+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline
- Competence in all job functions
- General understanding of industry practices, techniques and standards
- Ability to develop solutions for a variety of situations
- Ability to work on projects requiring evaluation and analysis
- Ability to determine best course of action to achieve results
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion
- Ability to collaborate with management and team members
- Ability to represent department internally or externally
- Ability to travel
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in a quality management method, e.g., Lean, Six Sigma
- SAP or equivalent ERP experience
- Kinaxis or equivalent experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
