Job Summary
Create and document processes for the Supply Network Planning process for finished goods while maintaining performance metrics. Work with plants to establish materials plans that optimize intercompany work in process planning and develop tactical supply plans covering a rolling 3-month time horizon. Provide network rollup plans by product group and category, resolve conflicts on shared assets, and execute what-if analyses to support special projects. Hand off valid supply plans to the scheduling team and actively participate in Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning processes. Interact with functional departments on forecasting, sales, quality, and inventory control to incorporate customer requirements into production planning. Achieve a 95% customer fill rate and re-plan as necessary to ensure plans remain valid.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in a Business discipline, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or Logistics
- 0-2 years of supply planning experience in a multi-product / multi-locations environment
- Ability to communicate with Plants, Sales, Marketing and Product Managers
- Critical thinking skills
- Experience with Logility Planning software or comparable planning application
- Advanced data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel
- Action oriented with a strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and adapt
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Travel 10-25%
