Job Summary
Manage the supplier portfolio for Airbus plants in Saint-Nazaire, Toulouse, and Hamburg, overseeing daily operations for over 50 suppliers across Europe. Anticipate risks, control demand forecasts, and optimize procured goods stock while challenging supplier performance and driving recoveries. Maintain MRP master data, coordinate supplier working parties, and act as the primary point of contact for supply chain queries from internal customers and production teams. Specify ordering strategies, utilize digital tools for decision-making, and support Supply Chain and Logistics Transformation projects. Operate remotely with transnational suppliers as a partner to the Supply Chain Quality Manager and Commercial Buyer.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, or Design Engineering
- Education in supply chain management: APICS or equivalent
- Willingness to travel (infrequently) and flexibility
- Awareness of any potential compliance risks
- Commitment to act with integrity
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the use and deployment of Digital solutions/tools
- Experience of transnational working
- MRP expertise and experience of SAP in a manufacturing environment
- Expertise in problem solving
- Good team working ethic
- Negotiation level of English, German Language
- Project management and LEAN experience
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
